Weight loss journey : 35 KG in 10 months
Yeah, I didn't think I was able to neither.
April 2024, I started trying to lose weight. I was clocking at 125 KG at the time, for ~185 cm. Pretty chonky.
Thus started my crusade. I tried to better my alimentation, little by little ; comfort food became standard food, and I've got no time for cooking with my work commute. (And executive dysfunction)
Then i tried to introduce exercise into my lifestyle. A little, at first, but I was pretty regular. Then a little more. Then a little more.
Then I started alternating between home gym sessions and actual gym sessions.
Then I started going to places using my two damn feet instead of public transportation.
All of those really added up, and I was seeing pretty cool results already back then. But then I wanted to try and do a caloric deficit diet.
Oh man, that's a bit tough. At first, it doesn't seem difficult, but sometimes you have those periods of time when your body looks at you, teary-eyed, pleading -- begging to be fed. Even though you know for a FACT you don't need to.
All in all, I held strong. Still am, now that I'm aiming for an 80 KG target.
I don't know how much time or just how much efforts it'll take, but I'll show some confidence for once : I CAN do it, I just need to be patient and persistent.
